Gather Close Hoodie

Gather close and close the distance. This black lightweight fleece hoodie uses the small front word “GATHER.” and the oversized back word “CLOSE.” in an industrial stencil-inspired two-sided layout with safety orange and warm bone ink.

Design story

The front says “GATHER.” and the back answers “CLOSE.”, turning a simple instruction into a physical experience as the wearer moves through a space. The split placement mirrors the act of approaching: first an invitation, then the reduction of distance. Industrial stencil lettering gives the message clarity and purpose, while safety orange and warm bone make it visible without relying on decorative imagery. The small chest word begins quietly; the oversized back word carries the communal call across the room. Wearing it expresses a desire for real proximity, attention, and shared time. This design works for outdoor meals, Friendsgiving, family arrivals, group photos, and any gathering where being present matters more than performing the holiday.
